How local processing worksFILE GUIDE
OpenFile is a local browser tool for HWP, HWPX, Markdown, PDF, and spreadsheet files. Read and edit documents, organize PDF pages, or edit tables without sending files to a server.
01
View HWP 5.x and HWPX documents without Hancom Office. Read text, tables, and images, search the document, then continue in the editor when you need to make changes.
02
Open an MD or MARKDOWN file to see the source and rendered preview together. Edit with live feedback, including GFM tables and task lists, then save the file to your device.
03
Read with thumbnails and continuous pages, then search and jump through the document. Reorder, permanently rotate, delete, extract, or merge pages and save the result as a new PDF.
04
Open CSV, TSV, XLS, and XLSX files to edit cells and paste tabular data. Review multiple sheets, then save to your device as CSV, TSV, or XLSX.
Format limits: password- or DRM-protected HWP and HWPX files, legacy HWP 3.x files, and encrypted PDFs are not supported. Raw HTML and external images in Markdown are restricted. Saving a modified PDF can invalidate existing digital signatures.
